The engraving of solid 14 karat gold into Hawaiian Heirlooom Jewelry with the owners name in Old Englsh-style lettering is a tradition dating back to Hawaiian Royalty. Then Princess (later to be Queen and last Hawaiian Ruling Monarch overthrown) Lili'uokalani recieved such a bracelet as a gift from Queen Victoria of England. The bracelet made way back to Honolulu, and Hawaiian Jewelers soon copied the beautiful gift to the Princess. Thus, the passing down of Jewelry to daughters started the "Hawaiian Heirloom" tradition. The spirit of the Hawaiian Islands lies within each peice chosen, as Hawaiian Heirloom Jewelry makes it's prescence known around the world.
